Scale Colors
Main Scale Color:
The primary scale color of a dragon is indicative of its elemental affinity and often reflects the hue of that element. The minimum coverage for their main scale color is 15%, and the maximum is obviously 100% barring markings.
All colors are possible for dragons, but there are special exceptions for purple, white, and black dragons.

Purple Dragons:
Purple dragons were previously unheard of before the appearance of the first purple dragon in the year 3000.

White Dragons:
White dragons did not exist before the year 2500.
White dragons are the result of systematic crossbreeding of various primordial and derivative elements.
Elemental affinity is determined randomly due to their mixed lineage.

Black Dragons:
Black scales will not appear on dragons with non-dark elements.

Secondary and Tertiary Colors (Non-Scale Colors):
Secondary and tertiary colors on dragons can be any hue and shade but cannot cover more than 50% of the design.
These colors may correspond to the elemental hue if the primary scale color does not.
Dragons can exhibit a wide range of secondary and tertiary colors, allowing for individuality and diversity in their appearances.

Elementless dragons:
Elementless dragons are considered a fluke, they're looked down upon and considered lesser. Despite their lack of magic, they can come in any color- including white. Leading some white dragons to be called elementless as an insult.
